2. Google User Data We Collect

When you choose to sign in using your Google Account (“Sign in with Google”), we request only non-sensitive scopes (openid, email, profile). The information received through Google APIs includes:

  • Google ID (sub identifier): A unique numerical identifier provided by Google to authenticate your account securely without third-party passwords.
  • Email Address: Used for account sign-in, verification, and session recovery.
  • Full Profile Name: Used to personalize your experience and display ownership on your uploaded files.
  • Profile Photo (Avatar URL): Displayed visually in the navigation header for your convenience.

3. How We Use Your Data

Data collected from Google is used exclusively for core functionalities of the Zapis platform:

  • Authenticating your identity and increasing your single-file upload limit to 400 MB (compared to the 200 MB guest limit).
  • Granting permanent cloud storage privileges for your media files in Zapis Cloud Vault.
  • Enabling you to manage, delete, and configure privacy visibility (public or private) for your files.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Zapis Cloud Vault's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Sharing & Security

  • No Data Selling: We never sell, rent, lease, or trade personal user data to any third parties or advertisers.
  • No AI Model Training: Your personal data and uploads are never used to train generalized artificial intelligence models.
  • Encryption: All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.3. Uploaded media files are stored on industry-standard encrypted Cloud Object Storage.

6. Data Retention, User Rights & Deletion

You maintain complete control over your account and files:

  • You can revoke Zapis application access anytime through your Google Account dashboard at: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • You can delete any of your files directly at any time from your personal vault dashboard.
  • If you wish to permanently purge your account data from our database, contact our support team and requests will be processed within 24 business hours.
